I came to my homeland Panama...purchased my Samsung Exhibit TC599 in Orlando. I tried to change my carrier here as I am going to stay in Panama for a long while. (Family Emergency). Whenever I have tried to INSERT NEW CHIP/local carrier, is asking me a UNLOCK CODE?? Please where I can find it. Thank you very much

It is telling you that your phone is locked to your original carrier which in this case is Metro PCS. You can use it with another carrier but it will need to be unlocked. To do this you will need to buy an unlock code. There are multiple websites online that sell them but I'm not sure which ones are legit so you'll have to find that out on your own.
