MoneyGram transactions do not have an expiration date and will be available in our system until the receiver collects the funds, or the sender obtains a refund. However, if the receiver attempts to receive a transaction that has been in our system for 90 days or longer, the receiving agent will need to call MoneyGram for additional authorization.

If a transaction has not been received or refunded after 7 years, then MoneyGram gives the money back to the government of the state or country where the transaction was sent from.

I can't find any language in the T&C; related to deadlines to the recipient's pickup of the transfer. I suggest you either call a local moneygram store or email them or call +44(0) 800 026 0535 for assistance.
