Hi,

o Place the headset on your ear.

o Turn on your headset by opening the boom. This is the on position.

o You will hear "ready to pair" This means that the H17 is in discoverable mode.

o The H17 will tell you what to do in order to connect to your phone. Follow the voice prompts.

o When your headset pairs with your phone, you will hear "pairing complete".

You can also visit this site for the guided instructions http://motorola.pairx.co.uk/. Just select the model of your headset and your phone to populate the instructions.

Hope this helps.
