Hi,
What type of App are you trying to log-out from? Is it like the Facebook app where there is a log out option or do you want to simply close the app so that it won't run in the background? If you simply want to close the app and prevent it from running in the background you can go to Settings> Apps> Running> This contains the apps which currently runs in the background. You can tap the app that you want to close and tap on Force Stop. System apps will continue to run in the background though. Feel free to provide additional details of your concern if this is not what you're looking for.
