Drag And Drop Of Music Hangs My Windows Xp System.any Suggestions

I am trying to drag and drop music files to the WX345. Instead of recognizing the phone as Drive I: which is the next available drive, it places the phone in Drive G: which already has another device. Then my Windows XP system hangs. Any suggestions
