Red Blinking Indicator Nec Mt1065 Projector.

I just replaced my lamp in my NEC MT1065 projector. When I plugged the unit in, the red indicator keeps blinking. Also the replace lamp message is still on the screen. How can I remedy this. The replacement lamp is not new but is only suppose to have 250 hrs on it. Thanks,
