Is Net10 A Safe Investment.. Is The Servicse Good /fair /or Poor

is net10 a good cell phone service ... and is the coverage good across america... i am thinking about re-activating my Old net 10 service ( How do i do that ?? i Have not used it in over 1 yr.so i went today a bought a 200 min card so i can try to get the phone reactivated.. what do i need to do ?there is no one i can call in person???

You can try to reactivate your old phone through their website. If it's too old, you have to call customer service and get them to send you a new sim card.

You ask if Net10 is a good investment. Yes and no. Customer service is about as bad as it gets. Long waits on hold, representatives with accents so heavy you can barely understand each other, reading from a script with no real knowledge of how to solve your problem. But if you plan on not having any problems, service is great!

I get good reception all along the major highways and through most of the cities I've traveled, but in the more rural areas service is spotty. I can have 5 bars, but it will still say emergency calls only. I think that's because it's not AT&T network there. This happens more than it used to; I wonder if they lost a contract with a backup provider. You can charge up your old phone and see if it gets service without actually activating it. Just take it with you and check the bars.

So I would say since you already have a minutes card, it's worth a try. Just don't expect too much, and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised.
