Netflix On The Computer With Apple Tv?

My parents just got apple tv and they started the one month free trial for netflix through the tv too but it didnt ask for a username or password. Then, when I tried to get netflix on my computer, it wouldnt let me in when I tried my apple ID username and password. Any advice?

In order to set up the free trial, you must create a username and password. You can't get any movies without it.
