Hi,
These kind of questions are impossible to be known unless you're an insider of the company. However, many have bought it from Amazon shows good reviews and no complains can be found for the product online.

If that is an issue for you, how long would you consider "reliable"? If 1 year warranty is not sufficient, take those 3 years coverage / warranty extender so that you have your peace of mind for 3 years.
