Help!!

I have an 01 Alero which the light was on and the code was reading it was the cat so I replaced it and the light was still on and was told it was the spark plug boots so I replaced them.... light still on and was told it was the cranckshaft sensor ... replaced it and the light was still on and the code was still reading it so thinking it was a faulty sensor iI replaced it once more then the code was reading both it and the cam so I replaced them both and now the light is still on reading the cranckshaft sensor... what can I do or what could it be?
