ER20 is an error code that can occur on the Omron M2 Basic electronic blood pressure apparatus. It means that the device has detected an error in the cuff pressure measurement. This can be caused by a number of factors, including:

The cuff is not properly inflated.

The cuff is too loose or too tight.

The cuff is not properly positioned on the arm.

The user is moving too much during the measurement.

There is a problem with the blood pressure apparatus itself.

To troubleshoot ER20, you can try the following:

Make sure that the cuff is properly inflated and positioned on the arm.

Remain still during the measurement.

If you are still getting ER20, try restarting the blood pressure apparatus.

If you are still getting ER20 after restarting, contact Omron customer support for assistance.

Here are some additional tips to help prevent ER20:

Make sure that the cuff is properly sized for your arm.

Sit in a comfortable position with your feet flat on the floor and your back supported.

Rest your arm on a flat surface at heart level.

Do not talk or move during the measurement.

Take multiple measurements and average the results.

If you have any concerns about your blood pressure or the accuracy of your blood pressure apparatus, please consult with your doctor.
