How Do I Reset The 'protected' Mode

somehow my on Kyl receiver is stuck in "protected" mode. Is it shot.

There may be an external speaker issue or connection issue that is triggering the protection circuit.

Disconnect ALL of the speaker wires from the back of the home audio device including the subwoofer. Then it on without the speakers.
