I Cant Use My Onkyo Tx Sr601 Because Of The Word 'protect' On The Digital Screen

Greetings - There should be a short circuit somewhere and the protection feature kicked in to protect the unit from any further damage as a result of the short circuit. You should try removing all cables (speakers) from it and reconnect them again - In the extreme the unit may need to be opened up and inspected. Hope this helps
