Projector Cuts Out All The Time

Hi. We have moved to a new house and "inherited" the above mentioned projector with our new home. Each time we would switch it on it would bomb out, sometimes after a few seconds, sometimes longer.  We found a specialist to fix it - the globe was replaced!.  He has now returned endeless times to take it away and "fix it" again - when I phoned this morning, I was told to probably buy a new unit. What I have noticed this last time is that the temp, globe light do not come on when playing, which, when on before the lights have always been visible. We have tried switching off at the plug, keeping the room cool.  Please can you suggest what we can do - hopefully there is a simple solution as its still doing the same as it was doing right in the begining. Many thanks
