Atc Chameleon Does Not Stop Beeping.

Hi, I switched on my chameleon and it started beeping non stop with the recording led in orange state. I cannot get control of the blasted thing as it does not switch off or shutdown no matter what I do. How do I get the thing to shut down and how do I fix this ? I updated the drivers before this happened, could it be the crivers giving problems ? Regards. DSF.
