Business Check Approval

To approve a check that you wrote from your PNC Bank business checking account, you can use one of the following methods:

Online:

Log in to PNC Online Banking.

Click on the Business Tools tab.

Click on the Check Approval tile.

Enter the check number and amount.

Review the information and click Approve.

Mobile app:

Open the PNC Mobile app.

Tap on the Business Tools tab.

Tap on the Check Approval tile.

Enter the check number and amount.

Review the information and tap Approve.

Phone:

Call PNC Customer Service at 1-800-PNC-BANK (1-800-762-2265).

Tell the customer service representative that you would like to approve a check.

Provide the check number and amount.

The customer service representative will verify your information and approve the check.

Once you have approved the check, it will be processed and the funds will be deducted from your business checking account.

Here are some things to keep in mind when approving a check:

Make sure that the check number and amount are correct.

Make sure that the check is payable to a legitimate person or business.

Make sure that you have sufficient funds in your business checking account to cover the check.
