My Palm M515 Will Not Charge Through Connection To My Computer It Has Always D

Does it charge if connected directly from the wall? If yes' USB cable problem, if not' the battery has gone bad. battery replacement instructions on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP0QHd4tnIw. Buy battery HERE.
