Change Channel

While you can't directly choose channels, here are some things you can try to minimize interference caused by having two bases near each other:

1. Increase distance: If possible, try placing the bases as far apart as feasible within your home. Ideally, aim for at least 3-6 meters of separation.

2. Consider wireless interference: Identify and relocate potential sources of wireless interference, such as routers, microwaves, cordless baby monitors, or gaming consoles. Ensure they're not too close to the bases.

3. Check for firmware updates: Panasonic occasionally releases firmware updates that might address interference issues. Visit their website to see if an update is available for your phone model.

4. Contact Panasonic support: If the issue persists despite trying these steps, you can contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance. They might be able to offer additional troubleshooting tips or suggest alternative solutions.

Remember that even with these efforts, some interference might still occur due to wireless environments being dynamic. Using only one base nearer the phone usage area might be a preferable option if interference remains significant.

Verify that there are no obstructions or blockages in the air intake or exhaust vents of the appliance by checking for them. Remove any foreign objects or debris that might be obstructing the airflow.

Examine the Filter: Should your appliance have a filter, make sure it's not blocked or dirty. An unclean filter can impede airflow, making the device work harder and producing more noise and less efficiency. As needed, clean or replace the filter.

Make sure that the handsets are not in use. Press and hold the "channel" button on the base for about 5 seconds until the CHARGE indicator light flashes.

Press the "channel" button on the base again to select a new channel. Repeat the process on the second base to ensure they are on different channels.

This should allow you to change the channel for the bases and avoid interference between them.
