Must I Remove The Blue Plastic Protective Covering From My Nn-sn960s Microwave?

You don't have to if it is on the outside of the machine, but it would probably look a lot nicer if you did.

Absolutly, if you don't remove the plastic film it will harden and crack with age and be near impossible to remove.
