Free Pizza

Last Thursday I received a recorded message on our telephone.  It was from a person named Jennifer and left the phone number 866 319-1119 to call back for a free Papa Johns pizza.  I assumed it was for taking a survey on line.  I called the number which another telemarketer answered and gave them the name who called.  They said they would leave a message for that person to call.  Since then, I have left 4 messages to find out the details of the message that was left.  I have not received any answer back.

I wouldn't count on getting an adequate answer ever, because these people tend to forget about the people they called unless they get an instantaneous response.

I would store the number. That way, when they call again, you will recognize the number immediately and know to answer it. Other than that, there is not much you can do. Operators for companies like this work off of huge lists of phone numbers, so you won'e be called again organically for a while.
