I Have A Phaff 1122 And The Manual
No where in the manual does it help with the situation of the needle thread getting jammed in the bobbin compartment. I have take the bobbin compartment apart and cleaned the area. When i hand manual turn the needle up and down the thread still gets caught in the bobbin area. Jamming the needle in down position and thread is jammed and I can't move the needle up or down,

It might be tough, but try rotating the flywheel in the opposite direction to bring your needle back up. If you keep going in the correct direction, you are only jamming the needle more. The fuse will continue to blow until the needle is out, that is what the fuse is supposed to do. If you have the Liberty, you will need a 3.15 A fuse which is a common size at any Radio Shack. You can also try to loosen the screw that holds the needle. It sounds like the needle is bent and this is what is prevent the needle from moving.
