The orange logo on the back of i10 irons from Ping is not a weight, but rather a custom tuning port. The custom tuning port is designed to help fine-tune the feel and sound of the iron by optimizing the center of gravity and the vibration frequency of the clubhead. The custom tuning port is made of aluminum and is filled with a soft elastomer material that helps to dampen vibration and provide a more solid feel at impact. The orange color of the custom tuning port is purely cosmetic and is used by Ping as a way to distinguish their products.
