Turns Off On Its Own Accord, Keeps Going Back To The Set Up And Resetting Itself

I installed my pioneer 6400bt and set it all up fine and changed the settings, such as bass booster etc, but it just turns off on its own accord and then goes back to the set up menu to set the time and date, and i lose all of my preference settings. This happens when the ignition is still on aswell.
