How Do I Hook Up My Htv Sw1 To My Denon

On the bottom of the subwoofer, you will see two large rectangular holes nearest to the backside of the sub. These may be covered up by some kind of panel, mine is so old but it looks like at one time it had something glued over the holes. Inside one of those rectangular holes, you will see a red and black wire running from the subwoofer cone to the internals of the sub box. Disconnect this wire from the internals and you will see that there are two holes on the connector, one for the red wire and one for the black wire. Run speaker wire (I used 16-gauge) from your amplifier's subwoofer out to these two holes. You will most likely need to tape the wires in place. This worked for me and I was able to use my Pioneer HTV-SW1 with a different receiver and amp.
