you can connect to your ipod by using iTunes.
With iTunes you can manage music, video, application and more .
To get your ipod connect to your computer, you can use the cable provided and plug it onto your computer. after that you open itunes application in your computer. if you don't have one, you can download it for free here > http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
