Firstly, there is a difference between pokerstars.com and pokerstars.net. pokerstars.net is only for fun and pokerstars.com supports both. This is confusing when downloading because pokerstars.net is the only site that is advertised on television(in the USA) due to certain anti-gambling laws forbidding it. Once you have downloaded pokerstars.com there will be an option at the top of the screen to play for real money instead of play money.
