Why Won't My Mp3 Player Turn On?
Yesterday my RCA M4204 would not play. It would turn on however it would not get past initializing, and the player would not turn off. I tried charging it - when I used the wall charger, the lights come on but nothing happens. When I connect it to my computer, I get absolutely nothing. No lights. No nothing. The computer does not read the the opal is even connected. This morning it will not turn on at all.

Try a different USB port on your computer. I had same trouble until I plugged the MP3 player into the USB port that I ariginally installed the RCA software from. I was ready to return the thing to the store, but just now got it connected to the computer and battery appears to be charging.
