Vr5320r-a Why Does It Shut Off?

I have the device set up for voice-activation. I wanted it to record automatically for a few days. It recorded really well for approx 20 mins, then it appears to have shut off / quit recording. I know there should be more recorded voice data on it. Is there a way to make it stay powered-on, but only record upon voice activation for a longer period of time?
