If you are using an aftermarket (third party or "compatible") photoconductor (PCU) instead of a genuine Ricoh PCU, that could be the cause of your problem. Otherwise, try removing and reinstalling the PCU and rebooting the printer. Make sure that all original packaging -- orange plastic pieces, black protective paper, etc. -- have been removed from the PCU before installing.

That error can indicate a faulty PCU, but it could also be a problem caused by a circuit board or connector. If the steps above don't resolve the problem, your best bet is to have a trained Ricoh technician take a look at the printer to diagnose the issue.
