How To I Program Copier To Print On Cardstock?

Hi, to print on cardstock you need to set the copier itself to cardstock for the specific tray, then also specify cardstock for your print driver. At the copier, go to User Tools/Counter > System Settings > Paper Tray Settings, and select the option for Paper Type for the specific tray you want to use as cardstock. (You may have to scroll down to find it.) Select Cardstock for the paper type, and hit OK to save the change, then exit out of User Tools.
The instructions for selecting cardstock from your print driver will vary depending on your print driver and your operating system, but in general when you go to print, go to the printer properties or preferences, select the paper tray with the cardstock in it, and select Cardstock for the paper type or media type.

As usual Freginold's answer is right on the money. The one thing I would add is that in addition to choosing card stock, on the right side of the screen where you choose cardstock there is also a selection for thickness. You may want to choose 'thick 2' to print on cardstock in the c4000 or you may have an image that can rub off because of improper fusing. If you don't get your driver settings correct as Freginold mentions, when you send your job to the printer it may beep at you because of 'paper type mismatch'. Not a problem, just press the printer button and touch the tray that has the correct paper and it will print.
