Printing Booklets - Ricoh Mpc5000
Our office has a Ricoh Aficio MPC5000 printer with driver PCL5. We print word documents in booklet format for various reasons. I normally use 11x17 paper so that when it print and folds, it's like a regular 8.5x11 paper size. However, we have a client that wants a smaller booklet printed on 8.5x11 then folded into the booklet. I can get it to print on the 8.5x11 paper as a booklet, but can't get it to fold and taple it. I'm sure I've not done something correctly. I don't have the non-reduction radion clicked, I have it set to 8.5x11 paper for all pages and I have it printing to the finisher booklet tray. The duplex is set to booklet and the staple is set to two at center. After printing, the booklet is not going to the finisher booklet tray, it's going to the tray under the scanner. Any help is appreciated!

Hi, from your images (thanks for providing them) it looks like you have everything set up right except the paper to be printed on. You'll have to choose the paper tray that has landscape paper in it (paper fed short-edge first) in order for the copier to fold and staple it. It can't fold paper that's loaded in the portrait orientation, only landscape, so you'll have to set the input tray for whichever tray holds landscape-oriented paper. (If you don't have a tray loaded with landscape paper, you'll have to set one up before hand, otherwise you won't be able to fold 8.5 x 11 paper.)
Once you set it for the landscape tray, and keep the other settings the same, you should be printing booklets with no problem!
