I Have A Roku 1. What Is The Range Of The Remote Supposed To Be?

Original roku remotes work with your wifi router and will continue to work as long as it is in range of the wifi connection. You will NOT need to point at the roku in order for it to work. Only aftermarket generic remotes need to be pointed at the devicebecause they use infrared technology.

It is limited to straight, line of sight range.
