Ryobi Ry13010 Carburettor

My Trimmer starts fine and idles fine for a minute or so then stalls as soon as I open the throttle. I think the main jet may be gummed up with old gas, how do I clean the carburettor, and do ou think that is the problem? Terry K

Cleaning should certainly improve matters if you have been using fuel with ethanol added. When it is clean try to obtain fuel without E5 or E10 added.

Cannot help with dis-assembly sorry.
