My 2002 L100 Has A Leaky Window?

Hello, I own a 2002 Saturn L100. I've been having trouble with the drivers side window: When it rains (or when I wash it), water hits the window, runs down into the door,, and through the bottom of the door, and runs into the floor and wets the carpet . When I put heavy duty tape on the window near the body of the car, the water does not leak into the carpet.. So, I know that that is the problem. I've had it checked by many differnt mecanics, some of them had drilled holes into the bottom of the door, did not work. I had one guy but silicone all over the inside of the door, did not work. Another had taken the door off, re-alined it, and replaced it, did not work. I only have 44,000 mls on the car. I would like to keep it for a while longer, if I could just figure out what is wrong with that door! When it rains, I have to drive around with tape on the window, which is not safe, because I cannot open it if I needed to. Please help me!! Thank you, Regards, Catherine - Brooklyn, NY
