Windshield Washer Fluid Leaks Completely Out Within 24hrs Of Filling.

My 04, Saturn Vue isn't holding windshield washer fluid longer than 24 hrs. A car knowledgeable friend checked it and said it looks like it's leaking around the gasket in the pump. He cleaned it bcuz it was pretty gunky when he opened it and looked at the bladder inside. Was hopeful the cleaning would do it, but nope! Dry as a bone this am. Should I just go ahead and buy a new or used pump and have it put on?
