Can I Use A Lay Back Or Set Back Seat Post On A Schwinn Meridian Trike?

I just purchase a 26" 7 speed Schwinn Meridian tricycle I am 6'3" tall and am wondering if I can use a lay back or seat back seat post to get a little more leg extension. Any suggestions?
