Singer Fashion Mate 5560 Beeps And Lvd Reads C3 And Won’t See? Why?

when I step on my pedal the 5560 which is brand new just beeps and flashes C3 and will not sew what do I do I've tried to fix the pedal plug but that doesn't change it. HelpPlease

9 Answers. The Singer Athena will do this when the bobbin is threaded backwards... Sometimes it will sew for a few stitches - bunch the threads and then stop. Once that happens it will simply beep and not operate.
