Failed Internet Connection For Skype Only

Just recently I have been unable to make calls, and "help" tells me skype can't connect to the internet, though I can connect with all other programs. I tried removing and reinstalling the program but the same message continues to come up. What can I do please??

Have you installed any new software (like a firewall) that would change how you connect to the Internet? If so, here is a link on Skype's forum that discusses what needs to be done.
