Tried Using Slingbox
Tried connecting to the Slingbox and got this message, There was an error connecting to the box.Please check your network, firewall and router settings. Do you want to retry?

This means the box was unable to connect wirelessly to your wireless router (if you have one). This is how it transmits to the internet so you can access the box from elsewhere. Make sure your password and network name are correct when you are trying to connect and you may have to go into settings to change them so it can connect correctly.
