After I Upload New Photos It Has Not Cleared The Slate From The Previous Upload.

It does not allow me to remove all or add all. It is a frozen screen from the previous upload. I am afraid to do anything in fear of losing my album in which is up to 40 pages. Is there a limit as to how many photos I can upload. I am at 418 photos.
