Having Problem With P1i Instant Mail

please, i have not been able to to get my mails instantly on my p1i sony ericsson phone since i bought it.   the phone has the application but i cant use it. i have contacted the services provider they said its the phone.   secondly, i cant use my playnow.   please help me.   thanks
