Weird Color Patches And Lines On Screen
My screen is showing weird color patches and lines where my finger has traced. It has not been dropped or damaged in any way. Suggestions please?

Can you post a picture of it?
A friend suggested that I verify the settings under "Developer Options". Once I unchecked the boxes for "Show Touches" and "Show CPU Usage", the strange colors and lines went away. There was no need to replace the LCD screen after all...whew!!

The most common cause of white and other weird colors that appear on our Sony Ericsson Xperia ion mobile device is failure in the LCD screen. This requires replacement with a new LCD screen. You can buy compatible replacement parts from the links provided below.
