Sound Seems Distorted At Times

Sound seems distorted at times. (resonating?) How do I find out if its a cracked speaker? It seems worse at volumes 40+. It is very annoying. Sometimes my friend turns it up to maximum volume (99) because he is deaf in one ear. Please help as I can safely hear at 35 volume. Thanks, Patty

TV speakers are not generally designed to be used at high volumes. That said, I would recommend contacting Sony directly for assistance. From the sounds of it, your TV may need to be serviced.
