Sony Kdp-51ws655 Cable Card Port Issues

I have a Sony KDP-51WS655 with a cable card port. When the cable tech came out it appears he broke the cable card port. Is this a frequent issue or did he break it?

The cable card was a stupid idea that someone though of several years ago. On paper it looked good, but in reality it sucked. Many people who opted to use it, ended up with the cable box. There was some people who found it worked for them, but the manufacturers could stop producing TVs with this option fast enough. And I'm sure the cable guy tried to convince you to use a cable box, if he has worked for them for a few years.

He may have bent the card slot mechanics, or bent one of the long pins that the card seats into.
