I Just Purchased A Sony Cordless Stereo Headphone System, Model Mdr-if240rk.
The instructions state that "the charging is completed in about 16 hours and the charging indicator light will go off". I have been charging the battery for 22 hours now and the charging indicator light is still on. Do I have a defective unit?

To charge the headphones, place them before connecting the AC power adaptor to an AC outlet.
