How Do I Get A Refund?

I ran the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013 and due to the bombings and my hotel being evacuated I needed to change my ticket to leave a day later. Spirit was going to actually charge my husband and I more for a change than if we just bought a new ticket!! Our friend were with us but they flew Jet Blue and Jet Blue changed their flights FREE OF CHARGE. Unbelievable that Spirit wouldn't help us. We ended up purchasing new tickets and spending an additional $500!!! We were on hold almost 2 hours waiting to speak to a manager who never came to the phone!! Under the circumstances of BOMBINGS IN BOSTON I feel we deserve a refund. Where is your humanity????
