What is the longest bar I can put on a Stihl MS251E

Refer to the user guide for info on the length of the bar and chain. The chain bar is designed for the specific chainsaw and should not be modified in any way to comply with safety. Using the wrong bar could cause serious injury based on the power of the saw relative to the bar.
Can you put a 20 inch bar on a ms251?The bar is sized to accept a cutting chain which is 0.063 gauge with a . 325 pitch. When reading reviews of bar size, some say the 251 can accommodate up to a 20 inch bar yet others felt the maximum length to be 18 inches.
