On Demand Glitch?

I'm in the middle of watching a show on demand (Lost Girl if you must know, on SyFy) and the On Demand menu just randomly comes up in the middle of the episode. I try to hit the "Resume Play" option but it does nothing, it plays in the small preview screen on the top right, but other then that it's almost frozen. It happens on HD or non-HD. If I wanted to watch TV on a 14" screen, then I would have gotten a 14" TV instead of a 42".
