Why Am I Missing Channels That Worked On Installation 12/5/11?

I was missing both ESPN channels and someone was supposed to come out 12/14 between 3 and 5 pm. Didn't call or show. I rescheduled w/the service people and it is for Tues.12/20 3-5. But I am now missing HSN/TNT and a few other channels on my living room box. The box got stuck on a channel and would not turn off or exit. The screen was black. I unplugged it and the tv and reset it. Still does not work. I got rid of Direct TV for poor customer service and my wait time tonight was 10-15 min. I hung up. If this is an example of Time Warner's service you can take your phone (which is not yet installed and your cable TV and let me keep the internet.) I think for what people pay, they should have working equipment and good customer service.
