Screen Turning Green. It Is Not A Black Background As Is It Use To Be.

this is a CRT rear projection HDTV which uses three CRTs (cathode ray tubes or picture tubes), a red, green and a blue one. The problem could be the green CRT is developing a short causing it to run harder than normal. A technician should be called to find out if it's the tube or the drive circuit is at fault.
